Our site, Foundation Repair Greenville NC, takes requests from Greenville, NC, surrounding unincorporated Pitt County and the five towns on our service areas page. This page explains where to send a concern, which turns on whether it involves our website or a contractor.

A problem with the website. If a page looks wrong, unclear or unfair, or a request you sent went astray, tell us through the contact form and start the message with "Website question." Say what happened and roughly when. We read each complaint and look into it.

A problem with a contractor. The contractor that received your request is its own business. We don't employ its workers, run its jobs or set its prices. If something goes wrong with an estimate, a repair, a warranty or someone's behavior, take it up with the contractor first. Write the concern down, adding dates and photos, and hold on to copies of the contract, every change order and all receipts.

When it stays unresolved. North Carolina law makes unfair or deceptive practices in business unlawful. The North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division takes complaints about contractors from consumers. Permit questions for a home inside Greenville, NC city limits go to the City of Greenville's Inspections Division, and for unincorporated Pitt County to Pitt County Permitting & Inspections; each of the five towns has its own office, listed on our rules page. This is general information, not legal advice.

Tell us as well. Even when a complaint belongs with the contractor, we'd like to hear about it, because a pattern of trouble bears on whether we keep sending requests to that contractor.

Nothing in this policy takes away a right North Carolina law gives you, and this policy is governed by that law.
