At Foundation Repair Greenville NC we aim to make every page readable, and every form usable, for homeowners in Greenville, NC, nearby Pitt County and the towns we serve, whatever device or assistive tools they rely on.
The standard we aim for. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Pages are built in plain HTML and CSS, which works well with screen readers, keyboard-only browsing, page zoom and larger text settings.
What we have done. Headings run in a sensible order, so you can move through a page one section at a time. Images have text descriptions. Text, links and buttons are checked for contrast against their backgrounds. Each form field carries a visible label, and both forms can be filled in and sent using a keyboard alone. Common questions and answers appear as open text, not inside panels you have to expand. The quiz and calculator use standard buttons and labels that screen readers announce.
Where we fall short. Some links go to documents and public office websites run by others, and those owners decide how accessible their pages are.
Report a barrier. If any part of the site stops you, tell us through the contact form and begin with "Website question." Name the page, what you were trying to do and where it went wrong. If the form itself is the problem, reach us any way you can and we'll find another route with you. Every report is reviewed, and we fix what we can.
We look at this statement again whenever the site changes in a major way.
